Public Interest

Rushing McCarl’s founding partners promised each other that they would never refuse a case just because someone could not pay market rates for legal services. We believe that lawyers have a duty to promote positive changes in the law and help underserved populations gain access to justice.

To that end, Rushing McCarl is developing a robust public-interest law program. We work with nonprofits and individuals who cannot pay our full rates to help them get the legal representation they deserve — whether through us or through another organization. If you have a civil rights case or are a nonprofit with legal needs, please contact us to let us know how we might be able to help.
